The difference between a product with an Ethibel label and Ethibel certificate
A fund with Ethibel label gives the investor the guarantee that only companies which score well in all domains of corporate social responsibility (CSR) will be invested in. The label thus guarantees a sustainable investment portfolio which was composed according strict selection criteria.
A fund with an Ethibel certificate gives the investor the guarantee that what the fund manager claims to be true is actually true. So, Forum ETHIBEL does not give an opinion about whether the investments meet their standards in terms of sustainability or ethical investments. In some cases not the entire fund, but a part thereof, meets the Forum ETHIBEL criteria. In that case it is not possible to assign a label, but it is possible to assign a certificate.
