Forum ETHIBEL joins UN Global Compact
May 22, 2015

Forum ETHIBEL recently joined the  United Nations Global Compact, the voluntary initiative on corporate responsibility and sustainability. As the UN Global compact involves all relevant stakeholders, participants do no not only include companies, but also governments, NGOs and other stakeholders.

By participating, Forum ETHIBEL officially expresses its commitment towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) which is deeply rooted within the organisation. Since its establishment in 1992 Forum ETHIBEL actively promotes socially responsible investing (SRI) in order to contribute to responsible behaviour at the corporate level.  We have also been contributing for many years to standardization, quality-setting and promotion of transparency within the SRI business.

The UN Global Compact’s ten principles with respect to human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption are an integral part of our responsible investment criteria that underlie the Ethibel EXCELLENCE and PIONEER labels. Forum ETHIBEL’s certification services equally rely on these principles.

This commitment towards the UN Global compact indicates that Forum ETHIBEL continues its course and is all the more engaging itself to actively promote these principles among corporations.
